We removed built-up dirt, mildew, and surface graying using Messmer’s WDA-1 Part A, a powerful cleaner formulated specifically for dense tropical hardwoods.

Step 2: Brightening and pH balancing
We applied Messmer’s WDA-1 Part B Brightener to neutralize the wood surface, restore its natural color, and properly balance the pH before oil application.

Step 3: Application of UV-protective finish
The final step was applying Messmer’s UV Plus for Hardwoods, a premium oil finish designed for IPE. This treatment enhances the grain, protects against fading, and seals the wood from moisture and weather damage.
